The Star Park sits on the edge of a village surrounded by beautiful Staffordshire countryside on one side and picturesque Shropshire vales on the other.
The River Penk and the South Staffordshire Union Canal both run through the village. Why not take a leisurely stroll along them or perhaps a relaxing boat trip? Fishing is also popular both here and at the many nearby reservoirs.
The South Staffordshire area is certainly beautiful. Much of the area is green belt and there is some stunning scenery along with a picturesque canal. It is also home to numerous garden centres and the Halfpenny Green Vineyards at Bobbington. Why not go along for a vineyard tour and wine tasting?
The Forest of Mercia, with its woodlands, public open space and parks, farmland, heathland and historic landscapes, is also within easy reach.
Nearby is Weston Park, a resplendent stately home which, along with its stunning gardens, is open to the public. Or why not visit Boscobel House where King Charles II once hid from Cromwell's men or Chillington Hall with its 1000 acres of parkland?
For those who enjoy spending the day on the golf course, the Three Hammers Golf Club is a short walk from the Park.

Telford with its large shopping centre and retail parks is also within striking distance, as is Birmingham. Wolverhampton and Telford also boast large cinema complexes as well as many fine restaurants and bars. Coven lies on the Stafford to Wolverhampton bus routes and, from both towns, there are frequent rail links to Birmingham (about 15 minutes from Wolverhampton). There is easy access to the M6 and the M54 which runs westwards to Telford and Shrewsbury.
The Star Park is ideally placed for those of you who like the community feel that living in a village brings but who also want to be close to amenities that the surrounding larger towns offer.
